Dr. Peterson earned her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. She completed her residency in Neurology at the Detroit Medical Center and a Fellowship in Neurochemistry at Wayne State University Biochemistry Department. Dr. Peterson was the Chief of Neurology at the Detroit Receiving Hospital in 1999 and taught as an associate professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Peterson began private practice at Dickinson Neurology Associates in 2002 and her scope of practice includes general neurology with special qualifications in movement disorders. Dr. Peterson is accepting new patients.

Nilar Shein, MD

Dr. Shein earned her medical degree at the Institute of Medicine in Burma (Myanmar). She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Providence Hospital in Washington, DC as well as a residency in Neurology at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Shein then went on to complete a Fellowship in Electrophysiology and Epilepsy at Wayne State University School of Medicine.
